gifts that give 2009
World Vision Microfinance LoansJoin the Chapel Hill Family & Friends Group on the World Vision Micro site and give a micro loan to help a business owner succeed. Choose the entrepreneur you want to help in a developing country. Read their story. See their business idea. With one in five people worldwide surviving on less than $1.25 a day, the need is great. Plus, your donation is always tax-deductible.
Be part of an innovative program that has helped thousands of families overcome desperate poverty. The micro loans help impoverished people start small businesses — and build a better life for their children. Loan recipients will be carefully screened, and receive six months of training from World Vision. Your gift will be reinvested again and again to help family after family.
